Who Are We, and Why Get Up and Out?
Up N Out Social Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities, so they have active, social, and fun lives—enjoying simple activities of life. We foster friendships and help bring joy and fulfillment to people’s lives through social outings that nurture inclusion, enjoyment, and healing—and promote physical and emotional wellbeing.
Individuals with disabilities needn’t live lives of isolation. We help ensure they have a balanced quality of life with loving, supportive friends so we can create new and beautiful memories together.
At the Up N Out Social Club, we believe life is for living—that goes for people with disabilities, too! Our goal is to replace isolation and loneliness with activity and community. We do it through physical activities, social connections, spiritual practices, arts, and brain-healthy lifestyles—empowering members to thrive!
Trying and learning new things is something we all do together to enhance growth. It reminds us that life can be simple and fun!
Every Sunday, we encourage friends to worship based on their individual beliefs and eat out as a family after worship. When a group of people eat together, they instantly feel bonded like family.
Who says you can't play Bingo at the beach? We’ve enjoyed each other's company and found that a simple game of Bingo can bring so much laughter and memories to our lives! Bingo can replace boredom, anxiety, and even depression. Come join us!
We love to watch movies together! We have our movie days every Tuesday at the local movie theater. A simple treat like sharing popcorn with friends can put a smile on so many people's faces!
