Her Mark: One of Up N Out’s Pioneer Influencers who helped bring the vision and mission of Up N Out Social come to life. 

Karmian Calangi: March 22, 1980- Nov 18, 2024

Karmian Calangi is one of Up N Out’s treasured angels with the heart to help. Helping was innate to her and thoughtfulness and acts of service was her love language. She worked joyously to serve the disabled community. She amongst other pioneers of Up N Out Social, contributed to make the vision and mission of, enhancing community engagements for the disabled to prevent isolation and create memories and smiles, one person at a time! With collaboration with the pioneer team, this vision came alive and gave birth to Up N Out Social. We enjoyed many memories with Karmian that included paddling with our members, our very first movie outing, our very first community event to celebrate Valentine’s Day year 2022,  gave one to one cognitive exercises to members called the Brainiacs, took her residents out with the Shopping Buddies, took them to restaurants aka The Taste Buds, among many other enjoyable activities available at the Up N Out Social community. We will forever be grateful to God for sharing Karmian with us and all the love she left behind. Her love, legacy, and light continues to live on through Up N Out Social that she helped pioneer and continues to bear good fruit. Her genuine love, positive spirit, moral support, and collaborative ideas still lingers on through the work she helped inspire.
