Laughter is healing. Silliness is healing. Dare to try something new is healing. Sometimes…letting go of the thought that you must heal is healing. Enjoy the little things in life like laughter with a friend till your stomach wiggles and jiggles. Stare at the stars at night and talk to God. Breathe 🧘♀️ the air in the ocean 🌊. Plant your feet on the sand, touch plants, dance like no one is watching, watch a movie just for the relaxing recliners and the popcorn 🍿, listen to your favorite music 🎶, sip on some coffee ☕️ or hot tea 🍵 , pray 🙏🏼, walk in the park, let the sunshine ☀️ hit your skin. And if all else fails join Bingo (you might just win). Try outrigger paddling with some silly friends you do nothing but joke with. There’s so much to choose…but whatever you do, choose the positive thought and activity. Sit and honor how you feel but don’t react to those feelings. Express it to a trusted friend. Best yet, surrender it to God. If you’re not ready to tell anyone how you feel, write a journal, write a letter to God. Write ✍️ 3 things you are grateful for, for 21 consecutive nights before you sleep. Express your creativity, through poems, songs, writing rap lyrics, dance, art, journaling, nail art, sticker journal, read positive quotes, read the Bible. Choose what makes you smile 😊 as long as it doesn’t hurt others. Self care is not selfish. Take a nice long shower, get a massage, get a pedicure, coloring books with your favorite music, karaoke with friends, retail therapy on a budget! So much to choose to do that gives you reasons to smile 😊. Dare to love ❤️ yourself as you are. Dare to love your life as it is. Dare to dream 😴 and hope. Dare to enjoy 😉 life now. Surround yourself with those who love 💕 you as you are. Learn to forgive and sometimes it might be learning to forgive yourself. Clean your room. Organize your stuff. Choose “you”. Dare to experience living the NOW. And when it gets overwhelming, take a rest, deep breath 😮💨 and slowly let it out with the exhale 😮💨. Life has its ups and downs, but no matter what you do or go through, don’t stop. Keep going. Your mistakes don’t define you, they’re meant to make you wiser and more resilient.
